Dear Influential Person,

Throughout the years, you have inspired me to be a good person. You taught me that life can be really fun, but at the same time, there is always going to be work that must to be done before. You taught me that hard work can pay off in the future, and that i should never stop working hard; that if i want something so bad in life, that i have to go out and get it, because life’s not just going to hand me things.

Dear Best Friend(s),

Over the years I’ve met a lot of people. I’ve made a few friends, and I lost a few. But you were always there for me, no matter what. So thank you.
Thank you for everything you’ve done. You’ve helped me through so much, and for that I am grateful. You’ve been a big impact in my life thus far, and I’m hoping that you’ll continue to be there no matter where life takes each of us.

Dear Young Chris,

Don’t blow things out of proportion; problems and issues are never as big as they may seem. But for the most part, everything will be fine. Just focus on your studies, and never lose your passion for basketball.
Always be open to try new things and take advantage of the opportunities that are given to you.
Always try to be the best person you can be; don’t be an asshole.
Don’t be shy, and never be afraid to speak your mind, because you’ll never be heard unless you speak up. 
Also, READ BOOKS; they are very intriguing.  
Oh, and despite all the heartbreaks you may endure, you’ll be fine.

GO TO THE DOCTORS AND GET IT CHECKED OUT.
Otherwise, you won’t be able to walk straight for several months, and your ankle will always get sore when it’s cold outside.

seriously though, i can’t wait to meet you. i promise i’ll try to be the best boyfriend you’ve ever had, and maybe will ever have. i know we won’t be together 24/7, physically, but when we are, just know that it’ll be special.
