“I’ll go if ______________ goes”
this type of answer annoys me
but i’m guilty of using it.
i’m a hypocrite.

to be completely honest, i didn’t even really want to come here. i liked the way we celebrated the holidays back in Virginia.
but being in the Philippines during the Christmas/New Year season was definitely something different.
this wasn’t the best trip to the Philippines i’ve had, but it sure was interesting.
Bohol, hospital, drinking with family, clubbing, etc. these were all new experiences i had during this vacation.
i remember when i was younger i used to hate leaving here.
but here i am, awake at 6am. my flight is in 4 hours. it’s back to reality, and life, again, moves on.
so here’s to you, Philippines! i’ll see you in about five years, if not sooner.
optimistic.
so i got my mom a Christmas present.
i bought her a “Daily Bible Verse Calendar” cuz i knew she read the Bible daily.
i was pretty excited to give it to her, so when i got home, i went upstairs and said
“Merry Christmas, mom! Here’s your present!!”
and she said, “what’s this? why are you giving this to me? i read the daily bible verses online. i don’t want this. where did you buy this? where’s the receipt?”
she went from mad, to yelling at me, to asking for the receipt to return it.
not even a “thank you, but i don’t need this”
yup….
A window of opportunity.
Now I just need to find this window.
ideas can strike at any given time. it’s good to write them down, before i forget.
