Mayweather is dumb.  i’m not into this whole “Jeremy Lin hype,” but i’d have to be pretty stupid to think it’s only because he’s asian. player of the year in California his senior year, no athletic scholarship offers to college, played for Harvard, an ivy league school which can’t offer athletic scholarships, undrafted out of Harvard, a 4th string PG for a team that was so close to cutting him, and living on his brother’s couch for like a month and a half. oh, and he’s asian. i don’t know if Mayweather knows this or not, but there aren’t a lot of asians in the NBA. there have been maybe like 5 players of asian descent in the NBA, ever, which makes him a minority in the league.  so please, stfu and think before you speak.

“Mayweather’s opponent has not been determined but Ellerbe said, “We’re looking to make the biggest fight possible and everyone knows what that fight is, the little fella.”

Ellerbe was, of course, referring to Manny Pacquiao. The welterweight champions and the top two pound-for-pound fighters in the world have been on a collision course for years. However, negotiations have fallen apart over drug testing protocol.

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight possibly on May 5th.

i hope it happens, and i hope Pacquiao knocks his ass out.
