I promise you. When it comes to social media, Chris Gonzalez is your number one fan. Whether it’s twitter or tumblr or whatever. He’ll always reply to a tweet, or like your personal stuff on tumblr. I love it so much. So this is a shout out to him.
Whenever I ‘like’ a post on tumblr or I ‘favorite’ a tweet on twitter, it’s mainly because it was something funny, relatable, or something I want to look back at someday.
When it comes to the tweets or posts my friends write, I tend to ‘like’ or favorite them, not only for the purposes mentioned above, but also because I like them to know that I actually take the time to read what they have to say. My intention is to show them that I truly value their thoughts, opinions, emotions, or whatever it is they write about in their blogs, tumblrs, or twitters.
Whenever I leave comments, or messages, or whatever, I do it with the intention to encourage them, in hopes that they’ll continue to write about their thoughts, opinions, emotions, or whatever.
And whenever a friend of mine posts something about how they’re feeling down, I try to let them know that I’m always here for them.
Be the person you needed when you were [in that position].
(the line is really younger, but this one seemed more relevant)
